We want to make the free Kundali Calculator as useful as it can be, and your suggestions will shape what gets built next. You can try it here: https://jagannathhora.com/kundali-calculator/

It runs on the Lahiri ayanamsa with whole-sign houses, the same settings as Jagannatha Hora, so the output matches the software. Right now it already gives you:

  • Rashi (D1) and Navamsa (D9) North Indian charts, the main divisional charts (D2, D4, D7, D10, D12) and a Bhava Chalit chart
  • A full divisional positions table from D1 to D60
  • Planetary positions with sign, degree, nakshatra, pada, house, dignity, combustion and retrogression
  • Birth Panchang, the full Vimshottari dasha tree down to the finer levels, and the yogas present in the chart
  • Current transits over your houses, Sade Sati status, and the dates over the next 18 months when slow planets cross your natal points
  • Ashtakavarga (Sarva and Bhinna), Shadbala, the Jaimini chara karakas, Karakamsha, Arudha Lagna and Upapada
  • A downloadable chart image and a shareable link for each chart

What we are asking

  • What feels missing when you use it?
  • What would make it more useful for your own chart study, or for the readings you do here on the forum?
  • Is there a specific feature you would like? If you can, tell us what you would use it for. That context helps us build it the right way rather than guessing.

If an idea is sound and useful to the community, we will add it. For the astrologers among you, your practical feedback is especially valuable, since you work with charts every day and know where a tool helps and where it gets in the way.

Thank you so much sir for this great initiative. I just made my chart today and here are few suggestions,

1) give a save kundali option. Otherwise the details have to filled everytime, while using the website.
2) i typed in gurgaon, and the location options were stating gurgaon in uttarpradesh.
3) one or two line to explaining the yogs in kundali. It would help the new people like me who doesn't have much idea could also get an idea of these yogs.
4) before every sub section , a little bit of explanation below it..make it more easily understandable to new users.

Thank you so so muchsir

1) give a save kundali option. Otherwise the details have to filled everytime, while using the website.

Just need to hit the copy link button provided, every time you open that link again your birth details will populate automatically and chart will be rendered. Have kept this simple on purpose so people do not have to create an ID or anything, just save links on local computer/phone and open
it whenever they like.

2) i typed in gurgaon, and the location options were stating gurgaon in uttarpradesh.

That is because it is called Gurugram now. Try that and it should work.

3) one or two line to explaining the yogs in kundali. It would help the new people like me who doesn't have much idea could also get an idea of these yogs.

That is work in progress, some yogas have their individual posts and those get linked when present in a chart, others will show links as those pages are created.

4) before every sub section , a little bit of explanation below it..make it more easily understandable to new users.

Could you please elaborate what you mean by that?

I was suggesting giving a bit of detail about astavakra score . But now when I read the whole page, it's already there. Also, Sir..
I really want to thank you for this initiative. I really really liked the chalit chart conjunction with the main chart. That's really nice.
I don't really know much about astrology but reading the articles on the websites have really made me curious. The time and effort it must have taken to think these things in such details..

The main highlight of that tool is that it gives you exact date of conjunction with natal planets for the next 18 months so whoever creates their chart can see without hassle that when a particular planet will be perfectly aligned with a natal planet. No other tool paid or free on the internet does that and all thanks to a brilliant student of mine who came up with the idea and worked with relentless effort that we have it live. Have a look. It helps to know when for instance Jupiter will make a pass over Moon or Rahu or any other planer for that matter. Cuts down the unnecessary effort of looking for exact dates for a pass when a transiting planet is perfectly aligned with a natal planet.

If you or anyone has any other ideas and can justify its use case we would be more than happy to add that feature.
