Transiting Neptune squarring both luminaries

Hello everyone! 😊

With Neptune finishing its transit in Pisces and beginning its transit in Aries, it is (and will be for a loooooong time!) making a square to my Sun in Sagittarius and to my Moon in Capricorn, both conjunct in my 12th House.

So I need some advice, tips and other kinds of help, because I must admit this is not a transit I enjoy very much... 🤦

I mean, I spent a good part of my childhood and teenage years with Neptune transiting my Ascendant (not easy for building yourself up at that age), I survived Saturn’s return on the Descendant while Pluto was conjunct first my Mars, then my Sun and my Moon at the same time, all in the 12th House...

And actually, more or less every time it has been a matter of getting past conscious or unconscious fears, of gaining confidence in myself, in life, and well, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, turning lead into gold, finally doing what we want, dream of, being who we really are, daring, etc.

But right now I’m going through something else with Neptune (worse than having it in the 1st): I don’t even know what I want anymore! I can’t decide on anything because it’s not just about facing fears — I’d first have to know what I actually want!!
I can’t stand my job anymore, I’m starting to let it go without having any idea what comes next, I’ve cut off several relationships (family, friends, partner), I want this and that but at the same time I’m not really convinced, and it depends on the day...

I admit it depresses me (well okay, Saturn is ALSO squaring both my luminaries right now) and I don’t see how I can handle this for another two and a half years...
So yes, I’ve seriously started meditation, pulling cards... the Pisces cliché, sure, but we all need to be able to make decisions in life, ones that won’t lead us to major disasters because we’ve built HUGE illusions about ourselves and what we can do!?
Sorry for playing the victim, but hey, that’s also one of the joys of Neptune 😅

So if any kind souls could help me, I would be infinitely grateful...

There is a period of confusion, emotional sensitivity, and uncertainty when Transiting Neptune squares both luminaries - the Sun and the Moon. The influence of Neptune can blur the reality, making it difficult to perceive situations clearly, while the Sun represents your core identity, and the Moon represents your emotions. You may experience uncertainty regarding your goals, be susceptible to illusions, or be susceptible to misunderstandings during this transit. This phase can be navigated by using meditation, grounding exercises, and avoiding major decisions.

Your description of Neptune square your Sun and Moon (especially in the 12th!) really resonates. That foggy feeling where nothing feels clear anymore not your direction, not your desires, not even your identity at times is so typical of Neptune transits, but that doesn’t make it easier to live through. You're definitely not alone.

I think what you said about having already been through so many intense transits (Neptune on the Ascendant, Pluto on personal planets, Saturn return...) is important it shows your resilience, even if you don't feel it right now. Sometimes these long Neptune periods dissolve old identities so slowly and subtly that we’re left in this weird limbo where we’re no longer who we were, but not yet who we’re becoming. It can feel endless.

One thing that has helped me (and others I’ve spoken to) during heavy Neptune phases is staying connected to intuitive practices which you’re already doing through meditation and cards. But also keeping some kind of grounded structure even something small, like journaling consistently, taking daily walks, or creating a simple weekly plan can help keep you from drifting too far into the fog.

I also came across a site recently that offers daily astro insights with a more emotional and intuitive approach, not just dry forecasts. You might find something that clicks with you there: https://www.lovehoroscopedaily.com/ it has helped me tune into certain themes I hadn’t fully seen before.
Thanks so much for your reply !
Yes seems endless as always with complicated transits…Here it makes it harder than i’m 48 y/o and to get lost at my age…
But you’re absolutely right : every time (at this period time) I step aside from the path, that makes it worse ! Grounded seems to be the key…
I’m going to have a look at your link, thank you again for your help, your support and your time, sincerely. 🙏🏻
